You guys are going to play more games then anyone else, why not have the best tools you can have. Your team probably isn't going to purchase these high quality bats. Unfortunately for them they don't realize that they would actually be saving money by paying for the higher quality bats. They will last 3 and 4 times longer then there inexpensive bats. That means they could cut the quantity they purchase by over 50%. They could save quite a bit of dough but more than likely they'll want to get as many bats as they can for as low a price as possible, and there's nothing wrong with that.
